McNeeley is aggressive and he has good size. McNeeley averaged 14.5 points, 6 rebounds, and 2.3 assists per game as a freshman at Connecticut. He shot 31.7% from three-point range but his shot is not broken at all. He made 86.6% of his free throws. He had slightly more assists than turnovers. His DEFRTG was 1 point worse than the U-Conn team DEFRTG. He jumped a 36.5" max. vert at the NBA Draft Combine. He moves fluidly but he will never be mistaken for a speedy wing. McNeeley clearly knows how to play. He makes heady plays that many 19 year-olds do not. He was a McDonald's All-American. We expect McNeeley to be taken in the mid-to-late first round.
