Mitchell is an accurate shooting, combo-guard that slid under the radar playing in the Big West. He is more of a scorer than a Point Guard on offense. Mitchell averaged 20.0 points, 4 rebounds, and 4 assists per game in 2023-24. He shot 39.3% 3-pt. FG, and 85.8% FT. Mitchell does a good job getting to the foul line (6th in Big West FTA's). He had a 1.55-to-1 assist-to-turnover ratio. Mitchell was the 2022-23 Big West Player of the Year, and in 2023-24 he was First Team All Big West. His DEFRTG was slightly better than the UCSB team DEFRTG. Mitchell finished third in Big West boxscore plus/minus. Mitchell is left handed and he is a below average runner/jumper by NBA standards (33.5" max. vert.). We believe Mitchell will be taken in the middle of round two. We view him as a potential low-tier starter in the NBA at some point in his career. (see video)
