Mitchell is a right handed guard that can contribute on offense and defense. He has a low center of gravity and he uses his strength and aggression to get where he wants to go on the court. Mitchell averaged 14 points, and 5.5 assists for the National Champions. He shot 44% from 3-pt. range, but just 64% from the free throw line. His 2.26-to-1 assist-to-turnover ratio is exemplary especially given how often Mitchell handled the ball. He was named the NABC Defensive Player of the Year, as well as the Big 12 D.P.o.Y. ...Curiously enough, Baylor was actually two points better per 100 possessions on defense with Mitchell off the floor. ...He finished second in Big 12 boxscore plus/minus. He led the conference in both True and Effective field goal percentage. ...We expect Mitchell to be selected in the lottery.
