Moore, Wendell  Duke  6'6" 217 PG jr.

Moore is an experienced, right-handed, guard that averaged 13.4 points, 5.3 rebounds, and 4.4 assists per game. He shot 41.3% from beyond the NCAA arc, and he connected on 81.4% of his free throws (career). His 2.26-to-1 assist-to-turnover ratio speaks to his good decision making. He really improved from his sophomore season to his junior season at sharing the ball effectively. ...Moore was named to the ACC All-Defensive Team. His wingspan is 7'0.25"! He is willing to take a charge. However, Duke was better (by the numbers) defensively with Moore on the bench. Moore tested with a 38.5" max. vert. at the NBA Draft Combine. He finished seventh in overall ACC boxscore plus/minus. We think Moore will be drafted in the late first round. We believe he should go a bit earlier. He can shoot it. He makes solid decisions, he's an NBA athlete, and he has a track record of winning. He projects as a future NBA starter.

Our best advice: in 2017, the 17th pick was DJ Wilson. We advised, "draft John Collins."
