Murray is the twin brother of potential lottery-pick Keegan Murray. Kris is lighter on his feet than Keegan but presently doesn’t have the reputation for scoring that his brother does. That said, Kris is no push over. In fact, we think Kris Murray is the single most underrated player in the this Draft. As a sophomore, he averaged 9.7 points, and 4.3 rebounds per game in just 17 minutes per contest. His lack of playing time in favor of two of the coaches' sons at Iowa was maddening. Kris shot the three-ball at 38%, he had had more assists than turnovers and he was a plus defender.  In transition, he is graceful and effective. His game is more perimeter oriented than his brother. Kris needs to become a better free throw shooter (just 64%). ...Murray worked out after the season with his brother and he was noticed. He declined an invitation to the NBA Combine, leading us to speculate that he may have a promise from a team. He could still return to Iowa for his junior season. If he does, he'll likely cost some team a lottery pick in 2023. It would make sense to wrap him up in this draft. We think he is a borderline lottery talent right now.
