Murray is the twin brother of 2022 NBA lottery-pick Keegan Murray. Kris is lighter on his feet than Keegan, and Kris shoots left-handed. He can score in almost every way imaginable. He cuts, catches and finishes. He can hit deep shots. He can score in the post. In transition, he is graceful and effective. We think Kris Murray is among the most underrated players in this Draft. As a junior, he averaged 20.2 points, and 7.9 rebounds per game. He was named First Team All Big Ten. Kris shot the three-ball at 33.5% this season. He had had more assists than turnovers.  Kris needs to become a better free throw shooter (just 72.9%). He finished sixth in Big Ten boxscore plus/minus. We believe Murray will be selected in the late first round. We view him as a potential top-tier NBA forward, and we think he should be selected in the lottery.

Our best advice: in 2020, the 9th pick was Deni Avdija. We advised, "draft Tyrese Haliburton."
