Alexander-Walker, Nickeil Virginia Tech 6'6" 203 SG soph.  Alexander-Walker averaged 16.2 points, 4.2 rebounds, and 4 assists per game in 2018-19. He shot 37.4 from three-point range and 77.8% FT this season. Alexander-Walker is among the few guards that has a better DEFRTG than his team's DEFRTG. He has a 6'9.5" wingspan. He was named 2018-19 Third Team All-ACC.  He finished fifth in the ACC in steals per game at 1.9 per contest.  While we like his ability to defend and provide just enough offense, we view "NAW" as a mid-tier reserve when he reaches his full potential. ...Alexander-Walker is the cousin of Shai Gilgeous-Alexander. ...Alexander-Walker competed for Canada at the 2016 FIBA Americas Under-18 Championship, leading the team to the silver medal. He led all scorers in the tournament with 17.4 points per game. We think Alexander-Walker will be drafted in the middle of the first round. That may prove to be a bit early.

Good Advice: In 2012, the 24th pick in the NBA Draft was Jared Cunningham. We advised, "Draft Draymond Green."
