Nembhard, Andrew Gonzaga 6'5" 195 PG SR.

Nembhard is a reliable, steady point guard that can direct an offense. He averaged 11.8 points, 3.4 rebounds, and 5.8 assists per game as a Senior at Gonzaga. He shot 38% from three-point range this season and he raised his free throw percentage to 87.3%. Nembhard was the West Coast Conference Tournament MVP. He finished sixth in WCC boxscore plus/minus. Defensively, Nembhard was often challenged. It's not that he doesn't compete. He will take charges. He just isn't very long (6'5.75" wingspan). His DEFRTG was 3.4 points worse than the Gonzaga team DEFRTG. His max. vert. is 35". ...Nembhard played his first two seasons at Florida where he was wildly inefficient. He kept improving and he was decent as a junior before turning into the good player he is today. Nembhard may have the best basketball IQ among any player in this Draft. His 2.96-to-1 assist-to-turnover ratio offers proof. We view him as a potential top-tier backup PG in the NBA. We see him being drafted early in round two.

Our best advice: in 2009, the 38th pick was Jon Brockman. We advised, "draft Danny Green."
