Ntilikina, Frank France 6'5" 180 SG 7/28/1998 Ntilikina has tools that others do not have. He is 6'5" with a reported 7'0" wingspan. He has deep range on his jump shot and he is a good ball handler. Clearly, there is considerable upside with Ntilikina. That said, we think Ntilikina reaching that upside is much further away than most seem to think. Some list him as a point guard. We see him as a shooting guard. Ntilikina likes the three-ball. He shoots it well (40% 3-pt fg). However, he relies too much on the three-ball. We always like to look at how often a player gets to the free throw line. Ntilikina is historically poor in that area. He only has 51 FT attempts in 865 minutes this season. That it terrible. And it is usually indicative of a "soft" player. In his defense, he is an 18 year-old player competing against grown men in the French Pro-A league. Ntilikina owns a 1.56-to-1 assist-to-turnover ratio which is good if he's a two-guard and poor if he's a point guard. On defense, he has the length and quickness to be very good. Ntilikina's DEFRTG is presently 1.7 points worse than the his team's DEFRTG. ...He shoots 67% FT. ...Most see him as a lottery pick. He seems too passive to me to be selected that early.

Good advice: In 2003 the 50th pick in the NBA Draft was Paccelis Morlende. We advised, "Draft Kyle Korver."
