Nunez has a feel for the game that is easy to see. The 20-year old, left-handed, Point Guard averaged 9.8 points, 3.4 rebounds, and 4.9 assists per game in the German BBL in 2023-24. He had a 2.13-to-1 assist-to-turnover ratio. His DEFRTG was 2.4 points better than his Ratiopharm team's DEFRTG. Nunez's weaknesses are his shooting and very below average athleticism. He made 31.9% of his three point tries in both of the last two seasons. Likewise, he struggles at the free throw line (60.7% FT). Nunez is a decidedly below-the-rim player (just a 29" max. vert.). We anticipate Nunez being selected in the middle of round two. If he can improve his three-point shooting just a little we can see a path to him being in the NBA at some point. His vision and passing ability will make him a favorite of teammates. (see video)

Our best advice: in 2002, the 39th pick was Juan Carlos Navarro. We advised, "draft Darius Songaila."
