Okogie, Josh  Georgia Tech 6'5" 210 SG soph.  Okogie is an energetic guard with blazing speed, that can really finish in transition. He is good in catch and shoot situations. On defense, he has potential due to his 7'0" wingspan (impressive on a 6'5" frame). ...We always like guards that can get to the free throw line often. Okogie has that in his game. He averaged 18.2 points, 6.3 rebounds, and 2.5 assists per game as a sophomore. He shot 38% 3-pt. in both seasons at Georgia Tech. Okogie raised his free throw percentage to 82%. ...He is a high-flying athlete. He posted a max. vert. of 42" at the 2018 NBA Draft Combine. ...One thing he will HAVE to tighten up is his assist-to-turnover ratio. He had more turnovers than assists (playing on a bad team may have contributed to this). ...Okogie has positional size at 6'5", 210 lbs. ...We are not predicting stardom for Okogie but we think he may one day be a starter in the NBA.

Good Advice: In 2015, the 21st pick in the NBA Draft was Justin Anderson. We advised, "Draft Bobby Portis."
