Oliver, Cameron Nevada 6'8" 239 PF soph. Oliver was a star in Reno for the Wolfpack. He is a forward that can stretch the floor with his face-up game. He is also rugged and willing to bang inside. He averaged 16 points, 8.7 rebounds, and 2.6 blocked shots per game this season for Eric Musselman. Oliver connected on 38% of his three-point attempts. He is a 69% free throw shooter. We don't view Oliver as a wing player on offense. His decision making is sketchy. He had more turnovers than assists by a wide margin over two seasons at Nevada. Defensively, Oliver can guard anything from bigger TWO's to all Forwards, and some small-ball Centers. Oliver provides a defensive presence. His DEFRTG was 5.7 points better than the Nevada team DEFRTG. That is impressive. ...Oliver showed improvement in his shooting stroke and he comes with a body made for the NBA. His standing reach is 8'10.5" (same as Kris Humphries and Josh Smith). Oliver jumped a 39.5" max. vert. at the 2017 NBA Draft Combine. That 39.5" mark is a half-inch better than Aaron Gordon's 39". ...Oliver will likely be taken in the second round. We would advise all NBA teams to give him a thorough look. If his shooting continues to improve, Oliver could easily be among the best 20 players taken in this draft when it's all said and done.

Good advice: In 2009, the 40th pick in the NBA Draft was Derrick Brown. We advised, "Draft Danny Green."
