Oturu, Daniel  Minnesota 6'10" 225 PF Soph.  Oturu is a fiery, right handed, quick-jumping player that was First Team All-Defense in the Big Ten. He is an excellent rebounder with a nose for the ball. He has a 7'2" wingspan. ...Oturu averaged 20.1 points, 11.3 rebounds, and 2.5 blocked shots per game in 2019-20. He finished fourth in Big Ten boxscore plus/minus in 2019-20. ...He made 20 of 54 three-point shots (37%) in his two seasons at Minnesota. Watching him, it is easy to see he has touch. He can finesse a finish around the rim.  …He shot 70.7% FT in 2019-20. ...He led the Big Ten in Field Goal percentage (56.3%). ...Oturu needs to improve his decision making. He had nearly three times as many turnovers as assists. ...Oturu led his high school team to the Minnesota State 4a championship but did not make the all-tournament team due to his poor sportsmanship. Clearly, Oturu is a guy that will not back down. He is a trash talker. He makes plays and glares at opponents. ...We anticipate Oturu being picked late in the first round. We think that is too late for him from a skills/ability standpoint.

Our most sketchy advice: in 2016, the 11th pick was Domas Sabonis. We advised, "draft Brice Johnson."

Our best advice: in 2015, the 11th pick was Myles Turner. We advised, "draft Devin Booker."
