Penava, Ajdin Marshall 6'9" 200 PF jr.  Penava led the country with 134 blocked shots. He averaged 15.6 points, 8.5 rebounds and 3.9 blocked shots per game. Penava was a PG until he was 16 when he had a 7 inch growth spurt and was then moved to PF/C. We thought Penava was among the most underrated players in NCAA action in 2017-18. He really improved. He raised his three point percentage with each season, netting 34% 3-pt. FG this season. Penava had one more turnover than assist in 2017-18. He shows some touch at the foul line, making 75% for his three-year career. ...Penava led Conference USA in boxscore plus/minus in 2017-18. He also led C-USA in effective field goal percentage (.610). We've heard nothing to indicate that he will be drafted. ...We think he should be considered as a second round pick.
