Poplar is an athletic two-guard that averaged 15.3 points, 7 rebounds, 1.3 steals, and 1.5 assists in 2024-25. He shot 38.7% 3-pt. FG, and 85.6% FT. He played three seasons on good Miami teams before transferring to Villanova. His DEFRTG was excellent (3.8 points better than the `Nova team DEFRTG). Poplar had just one more assist than turnover in his NCAA career. Right-handed. We do not believe he will be drafted. We think Poplar could be a mid-tier reserve in the NBA. Poplar can defend and shoot with accuracy. That is a nice combo to have.
