Potter is a right handed BIG that has skill throughout his game. He can score inside or outside. As a Badger Senior, Potter averaged 12.5 points, 5.9 rebounds, and 1.4 assists per game. In our opinion he was wildly under-utilized, playing a paltry 22.2 minutes per game. Potter started his NCAA career at Ohio State. He played there two seasons before transferring to Wisconsin. He is already 23 years-old. ...This season, Potter shot 38.6% 3-pt.fg., and 84% FT. He had the same amount of assists as turnovers. Potter finished fourth in the entire NCAA in boxscore plus/minus. His DEFRTG was 1.5 points better than the Wisconsin DEFRTG. ...Potter starred at the Tampa Bay Pro Combine but was not invited to the NBA Combine. We do not expect Potter to be drafted.
Our best advice: in 2002, the 56th pick was Randy Holcomb. We advised, "draft Udonis Haslem."
