Pryor, Rodney Georgetown 6'4" 201 SG SR. Pryor is an interesting case. He was twice sidelined in his college career due to injury (broken bone in his foot in 2012, torn ACL in 2013). So at age 24 he finds himself struggling to gain serious looks as an NBA Draft prospect. We think he would be worth the investment. Pryor is a gifted athlete that jumps with explosion. He is a scorer that averaged 18 points per game at Georgetown in 2016-17. He played previously at Robert Morris where he was the 2015 NEC Tournament Most Valuable Player. For his career, Pryor's shooting numbers are: 46% FG, 36% 3-pt., and 79% FT. ...Despite having the tools to be a good defender, Pryor is just okay. He seems to prioritize scoring more than locking his opponent up. His DEFRTG was slightly worse than the Hoyas team DEFRTG. ...Pryor has a 6'11" wingspan (same as Norman Powell and Jeremy Lamb). ...Forget that Pryor is 24 years old. He can help an NBA team with his scoring ability. We would go as far as to say we think he could be a NBA starter at some point if he's in the right situation. Good advice: 2017 NBA All-Stars: where they were taken in the NBA Draft vs. where we had players ranked.
