Weatherspoon, Quinndary Mississippi St. 6'4" 206 SG SR.  Weatherspoon is a steady, right-handed guard that despite being 6'4" with shoes, has a 6'9" wingspan. He averaged 18.5 points, 4.7 rebounds, and 2.8 assists per game as a Senior, on his way to First Team All-SEC honors. He is really good in transition, and he can shake enough to create his own shot. He is a good (not great) perimeter shooter. He nailed 36% of his career three-point attempts and he shot 78% from the free throw line. ...Although he has the good length, he was a "minus" defender this season. Miss. St. was 1.9 points per 100 possessions better defensively with Q.W. off the floor. Furthermore, he needs to be a better decision maker. Weatherspoon had more turnover than assists in 2018-19; something that should never happen to a "guard". ...We think he can ultimately be a good reserve in the NBA.

Good Advice: In 2016, the 4th pick in the NBA Draft was Dragan Bender. We advised, "Draft Kris Dunn."
