Queta, Neemias Utah St. 6'11" 248 C jr.

Queta is a right handed BIG that will make any team better defensively. He has great size and he is willing to do the dirty work. He was the Mountain West Conference Defensive Player of the Year. Queta averaged 14.9 points, 10.1 rebounds and 2.7 assists per game in 2020-21. ...He is not just a defender. Queta had more assists than turnovers. He shot only eight three-point attempts in his college career (he made three). He improved his free throw shooting with each season, getting up to 70.7% as a junior. He has big hands (measured 10.5" hand width at the 2021 NBA Draft Combine). ...Utah St. was 8.9 points per 100 possessions better defensively when Queta was on the floor. He led the MWC in boxscore plus/minus. …We are not sure if Queta will be drafted but we do think he is capable of someday being a no-nonsense backup NBA Center.

Our best advice: in 2009, the 40th pick was Derrick Brown. We advised, "draft Danny Green."
