Quickley, Immanuel Kentucky  6'3" 188 SG soph.

Quickley can shoot it! He is a right-handed shooting guard. Quickley was named the SEC Player of the Year. He averaged 16.1 points, 4.2 rebounds, and 1.9 assists per game in 2019-20. He shot a blistering 42.8% from beyond the three-point line, and showed his marksmanship with a 92.3% free throw connectivity rate. He finished sixth in 2019-20 SEC boxscore plus/minus. His career assist-to-turnover ratio is 1.28-to-1. Defensively, Kentucky was quite a bit better with Quickley off the floor. He was 3.5 points per 100 possessions worse than the Kentucky team DEFRTG. ...We expect Quickley to be drafted in the early-to-mid second round. ...Quickley has a reputation as a gym-rat and that shows in his shot-making ability. He is likely to be defensively challenged, especially early in his career until he gains some bulk. We thought he improved as the season went on. Gym rats that can shoot, care about and love the game, are the kind of players we like.

Our best advice: in 2014, the 5th pick was Dante Exum. We advised, "draft Marcus Smart."
