Reaves averaged 18.3 points, 5.5 rebounds, and 4.6 assists in 2020-21. He shot 34% 3-pt (career), and 86.5% FT (2020-21). Reaves does a good job of drawing fouls. He was at the foul line often (his 147 free throws made led the Big 12). …Reaves is a year older than his class (already 23 years old). He played two seasons at Wichita State then sat out a redshirt season before competing at Oklahoma the last two seasons. ...While Reaves has very limited upside, he is one of the more skilled and complete players in this Draft. He is a good shooter and he makes solid decisions (1.54-to-1 assist-to-turnover ratio). ...Defensively, Oklahoma was better by 2.9 points per 100 possessions when Reaves was OFF the floor. ...We expect Reaves to be drafted late in round two.
Our best advice: in 2003, the 39th pick was Slavko Vranes. We advised, "draft Kyle Korver."
