Roach is a world class athlete. He runs with grace and speed and he jumps like only a few ever have. He improved his basketball skills with each season at Texas. He was the Most Outstanding Player of the N.I.T. Tournament. As a Senior, Roach averaged 14.6 points, 4.3 rebounds, and 3.2 assists per game. He raised his scoring average every year. He shot 35% 3-pt. FG in 2018-19. His free throw stroke needs improvement (just 68% FT as a Senior). ...Roach was 8th in Big 12 boxscore plus/minus in 2018-19. ...Roach may still need time in the G-League but his athletic gifts and continued improvement are the right kind of ingredients to take a chance on him in the late second round.
