Samuel averaged 13.9 points, 7.4 rebounds and 1.9 assists in 2023-24. He is a low percentage deep shooter (27% 3-pt. FG, career), and a poor free throw shooter (58.1% FT, career). He had more assists than turnovers for the first time in his career in 2023-24. Samuel played four seasons at Seton Hall before finishing up his NCAA career at Florida. His DEFRTG was 2.3 points better than the Gators' team DEFRTG. Samuel is already 24 years old and he will not be drafted. We could see him grinding enough to crack the league at some point as a reserve BIG. (see video)
