Scrubb, Jayden JUCO 6'6" 215 SG Soph.

Scrubb is a left handed player that played for John A. Logan junior college. He was named NABC NJCAA Division I Player of the Year as a sophomore. ...He averaged 21.9 points per game, along with 6.8 rebounds per. ...Scrubb shot 33% from beyond the college arc, and connected on 72.7% of his foul shots in 2019-20. He can get to the basket and finish with quick bursts. He is an above average athlete by NBA standards. ...He can get sloppy with the ball. In Conference games, he tightened that up but overall he had more turnovers than assists. ...Mostly, at this stage, Scrubb is a scorer that creates for himself.  ...Scrubb was originally committed to continue his college career with Louisville but instead declared for the 2020 NBA draft. It is asking an awful lot for a kid from the JUCO ranks, who was a clear first option, to suddenly be an offensive after-thought, role player. He will also need to care about defense the way it needs to be cared about in the NBA. ...I expect Scrubb to be selected late in the second round and spend time in the G-League where, if he fully develops, a team might have something.

Our best advice: in 2003, the 48th pick was James Lang. We advised, "draft Kyle Korver."

Our most sketchy advice: in 2007, the 48th pick was Marc Gasol. We advised, "draft Ali Traore."
