Shamet, Landry  Wichita St. 6'4" 188 PG soph.  Shamet is more of an offensive PG than a defensive minded PG.  ...Shamet made modest improvements in 2017-18. He averaged 14.9 points, 5.2 assists, and 3.2 rebounds per game in 2017-18. He led the American Athletic Conference in assists per game, and in three-point shooting percentage (42%). He plays with a nice feel for the game. High hoop I.Q. ...Shamet is one of those guys that, if he gets an open look, you think the ball is going in. ...Although he is a sophomore, he is one year older than that class standing (he is 21). We view Shamet as a possible back-up NBA point guard. He will need to get stronger, and we would like to see him be more aggressive in looking for his own offense.

Good Advice: In 2017, the 17th pick in the NBA Draft was D.J. Wilson. We advised, "Draft John Collins."
