Sochan, Jeremy  Baylor  6'9" 230 LPS frosh.

Sochan is a versatile, competitive, forward with a great motor. He averaged 9.2 points, 6.4 rebounds, and 1.8 assists per game as a Baylor freshman. He was the Big 12 Sixth Man of the Year. Sochan is, at this point, a low-percentage deep shooter. He shot 29.6% from three-point range, and a horrid 58.9% from the free throw line. Sochan did have more assists than turnovers by a slight margin. Sochan is right handed. Defensively, Sochan is the real deal. His DEFRTG was 2.9 points better than the Baylor team DEFRTG. He will sacrifice his body and his ability to take charges is impressive. He finished 7th in Big 12 boxscore plus/minus. Sochan was born in Oklahoma but his mother is Polish, and he lived in England prior to playing for Baylor. ...We believe Sochan has a long way to go offensively. As good as he is defensively, his struggles to shoot with any sense of accuracy are a big turn off. He seems destined to be taken in the late lottery. Whoever selects him will have to hope he can become at least a decent shooter. The rest of the game is there.

Our best advice: in 2018, the 23rd pick was Aaron Holiday. We advised, "draft Robert Williams."
