Funk, Taylor

Funk is a right-handed forward that can really shoot with accuracy. Funk averaged 13.4 points, 5.5 rebounds, and 1.7 assists. He shot 37% 3-pt. FG, and 90% FT. His assist-to-turnover ratio was 1.25-to-1. Funk is older than most draft prospects and he is a below average runner/jumper by NBA standards. He started his NCAA career at St. Joseph's in 2017. He closed his career at Utah State in 2022-23. He finished third in the Mountain West Conference in boxscore plus/minus. We do not foresee Funk being drafted. We think his shooting ability will always give him a chance.

Our best advice: in 2020, the 10th pick was Jalen Smith. We advised, "draft Tyrese Haliburton."
