Jackson-Davis is a 6'8" post player that has a 7'1" wingspan. He has a quick feet and a quick second jump that allows him to beat slower BIGs. He averaged 20.9 points, 10.8 rebounds, 4.0 assists and 2.9 blocked shots per game in 2022-23. He is a fierce defensive rebounder. He was First Team All Big Ten as well as First Team All-Defense in the Big Ten. He led the entire NCAA in boxscore plus/minus. In his four seasons of NCAA play (all at Indiana), he attempted just three 3-pt. field goals, so that is not a part of his game. He shot 69.5% FT. ...Jackson-Davis is really good in the mid-post. He can score in a variety of ways, and he required a double-team at the college level. When doubled, he displayed excellent vision and ability to deliver on-time, on-target passes. He boasted a 1.59-to-1 assist-to-turnover ratio. He plays with force on both ends. Yes, he is small for a BIG. But he is also very skilled in his ability to score. We anticipate Jackson-Davis being taken in the early second round. We view him as a potential top-tier starter in the NBA, and we think he should definitely be a first round pick.
