Smith, Terquavion

The best "wiggle" in the Draft belongs to Terquavion Smith. The sophomore guard made strides to his all-around performance in 2022-23, averaging 17.9 points, 3.6 rebounds, 4.1 assists, and 1.4 steals per game. He shot 35.1% from three-point range in his two NCAA seasons. He hit 70.1% of his free throws. Smith is ultra-aggressive in hunting for his own offense. He will always give himself a chance. He is right-handed but he uses his left very well, and he will finish plays with his off-hand. He led the ACC in both field goal attempts, and three-point field goal attempts. ...Defensively, Smith has a way to go. He needs to show more consistent interest. His wingspan is 6'6.75". ...Smith will likely be drafted in the middle of round two. We view him as a potential reserve two guard in the NBA. We believe his ceiling is higher than most due to his ability to create offense.

Our best advice: in 2012, the 31st pick was Jeff Taylor. We advised, "draft Draymond Green."
