Toohey played in the Australian NBL. He is a 21 year-old forward with a good looking shot. He averaged 11.4 points, 3.8 rebounds, 1.3 steals, and 1.4 assists per game in 2024-25. He shot 34% 3-pt. fg, and 73.8 % FT. Toohey was named 2025 NBL Rookie of the Year. He is a below average athlete by NBA running and jumping standards (31.5" max. vert.). He was a big-time plus defender with a DEFRTG 4.1 points better than the team's DEFRTG. Right-handed. His strength, and the force he plays with are noticeable. He has positional NBA size. We view Toohey as a potential mid-to-low tier starter in the NBA. We expect him to be drafted early in round two. We like him and think he should be selected earlier.
