Washington, PJ Kentucky  6'8" 228 PF soph.  Perhaps the most improved college player in 2018-19 was PJ Washington. Washington raised his scoring average from 10.8 (freshman) to 15.2 (sophomore) points per game. He was First Team All-SEC. ...As a freshman, Washington played much more like a BIG than a wing. He made just five , three-point shots in 2017-18. This season, Washington has exhibited improved skill as a perimeter shooter, and as a ball-handler/play-maker. He connected on 33 three-pointers (33 of 78, 42.3% 3-pt. FG). ...Washington's DEFRTG is better than the Kentucky team DEFRTG. ...Washington ended the season with more turnovers than assists. He is probably more of a FOUR than a THREE. He shot just 66% FT. ...We think Washington is the kind of player you can WIN with. He has a knack for scoring timely baskets. He gives an honest effort on defense, and he keeps improving.

Good Advice: In 2011, the 13th pick in the NBA Draft was Markieff Morris. We advised, "Draft Kawhi Leonard."
