Watkins has good size and speed for a NBA shooting guard. He's 6'5' with a 6'10.75" wingspan.  The right-hander averaged 18.4 points, 5.7 rebounds, and 2.4 assists. He shot 32.1% 3-pt FG, and 74.7% FT. He has more turnovers than assists in his career. That is less than ideal for a guard. He does a great job of drawing fouls. Watkins led the ACC in free throw attempts. Watkins DEFRTG was slightly worse    than the Florida St. team DEFRTG. Watkins started his NCAA career at VCU (two seasons) before heading to Florida State where he played two seasons. ...We think Watkins will be drafted in the middle of round two. He will be 24 years-old when the next NBA season begins. We think he should be drafted.  We view him as a possible reserve wing in the NBA. The tunnel vision and low percentage shooting from deep scare us though.
