Cody Williams is a right-handed forward that flashed the upside of a potential star. He averaged 11.9 points, 3.0 rebounds, and 1.6 assists per game. He shot 41.5% from three-point land, and 71.4 FT. Williams had more turnovers than assists and his DEFRTG was significantly worse (3.9 points) than the Colorado team DEFRTG. His bad defensive numbers are hard to fathom since he has a 7'1" wingspan and he jumped a 35.5" max. vert. at the NBA Draft Combine. Williams is the younger brother of OKC (Santa Clara) player, Jalen Williams. We believe Cody will be a lottery pick. While we saw the flashes of brilliance, they were too few and far between. His feel for the game is below average and he didn't defend. We concede he has some ability to create, which is nice for a player his size. We are way less high on Williams than the majority seem to be. Being the brother of a really good young NBA player shouldn't mean much at all. Jrue Holiday will be a Hall of Fame player. His brothers, Aaron and Justin are their own unique selves. (see video)

Our best advice: in 2015, the 28th pick was RJ Hunter. We advised, "draft Kevon Looney."
