Williams, Jaylin Arkansas 6'10" 236 LPS soph.

Williams is an easy prospect to like. He plays an unselfish brand of ball with a smile on his face. While his shooting from deep is suspect (23.9% 3-pt. FG), his defensive ability will get him on the floor. Arkansas was 5.3 points per 100 possessions better defensively with Williams in the game. He is a charge taker that was named to the SEC All-Defensive Team. ...Williams averaged 10.9 points, 9.8 rebounds, and 2.6 assists per game as a sophomore. He shot 72.9% FT. His 1.41-to-1 assist-to-turnover ratio is a nice bonus from a BIG. Right handed. Williams is the SEC career leader in defensive rebounding percentage. He has big hands, and a 7'1" wingspan. ...We expect Jaylin Williams to be selected in the mid second round. WE like his intangibles, and we would consider him a bit earlier than the consensus.

Our best advice: in 2015, the 31st pick was Cedi Osman. We advised, "draft Montrezl Harrell."
