Williams, Trevion  Purdue 6'9" 264 PF SR.

Williams is among the best passing big men in this Draft. His vision and feel for the game are truly top-notch. He averaged 12 points, 7.4 rebounds, and 3 assists per game as a Senior. Williams was named First Team All Big-Ten. He finished second in Big Ten boxscore plus/minus. His assist-to-turnover ratio is 1.41-to-1. He shot 35.7% from three point range on low volume (5 of 14). He struggles at the foul line, making just 59.7% FT. Williams was the anchor for Purdue's defense. His DEFRTG was 7.8 points better than the Purdue team DEFRTG. He had the best DEFRTG in the Big Ten. ...Williams is an excellent offensive rebounder (second in Big Ten career off. reb. percentage).  His wingspan is 7'2.75". Right-handed. ...Williams was among the lowest ranked players in the running and jumping portions of the NBA Draft Combine. He had the slowest time in lane agility and his 3/4 court sprint time was awful too. His max. vert. was 30". ...Williams is a bit hard to gauge for us. On one hand, he is efficient with a great feel. On the other hand, he is not a great athlete and he's not been in NBA shape at any point in his career. We expect him to be drafted late in round two. We think he is capable of being a useful NBA player and we like him overall better than the consensus.

Our best advice: in 2009, the 38th pick was Jon Brockman. We advised, "draft Danny Green."
