Windler, Dylan Belmont 6'8" 196 SF SR.  Windler is a lefty wing with a quick release on his jump shot. A former golfer, Windler was late to the AAU basketball scene and thus went mostly unrecruited by the major schools. At Belmont, he was the go-to guy. He averaged 21.3 points and 10.8 rebounds per game. He has a nice shooting stroke. He shot 42.9% from beyond the college arc in his Senior season, while connecting on 84.7% of his free throw attempts. Windler led the Ohio Valley Conference in True Shooting Percentage (68.2%). He was a plus defender, with a DEFRTG that was 4.2 points better than the Belmont team DEFRTG. Despite weighing less than 200 lbs., Windler will stick his nose into a scrum for a defensive rebound. ...Windler will need to gain muscle to compete in the NBA. ...Overall, I like Windler. I believe he is being underrated in this Draft. He is a good enough athlete. He shoots it. He defends. I wouldn't be surprised if he winds up being a long term NBA starter at Small Forward.

Good Advice: In 2014, the 15th pick in the NBA Draft was Adreian Payne. We advised, "Draft Kyle Anderson."
