Zegarowski, Marcus Creighton 6'1" 181 PG jr.

Zegarowski is a steady, right-handed, Point Guard that averaged 15.8 points, 3.6 rebounds, and 4.3 assists per game. He shot 42% from three-point range in 2020-21, and he connected on 78.6% of his free throws. He was named First Team All-Big East. …His DEFRTG was 2.9 points worse than the Bluejays team DEFRTG. It's not that Zegarowski doesn't try on defense. He does try. He will take a charge. He's just not physically big enough or long enough (6'3" wingspan) to have a consistently positive impact on defense vs. elite athletes. That stated, Zegarowski can certainly run a team. He was third in Big East boxscore plus/minus. ...We do not think he will be drafted. We view Zegarowski as a low-tier backup Point Guard in the NBA if all goes well.

Our best advice: in 2020, the 7th pick was Killian Hayes. We advised, "draft Tyrese Haliburton."
