Cameron Carr is a right-handed wing with excellent length, explosive athletic ability, and real shooting touch. Carr averaged 18.9 points, 5.8 rebounds, 2.6 assists, and 1.3 blocked shots per game this season at Baylor while shooting 37.4% from three-point range and 80.1% from the free throw line. At 6'5" with a 7'0.75" wingspan and a 175-pound frame, Carr has unusual length for a wing. His wingspan gives him comfortable physical advantages as a three and extreme advantages if he is used as a two. Carr can make opponents pay from beyond the three-point line or above the rim as a lob target. He also makes good, timely cuts, giving him value away from the ball. ...Carr can be tunnel-visioned, but he did finish this season with slightly more assists than turnovers. He needs to tighten his ball-handling skills. His dribble is often too high, which could be a problem against NBA pressure. Carr spent two seasons at Tennessee but barely played there, logging just 102 total minutes before breaking out at Baylor. Defensively, Carr’s DEFRTG was slightly better than Baylor’s team DEFRTG by 0.4 points. We think his defense could become even better. He has the length, quickness, speed, and athletic tools to be more disruptive, but he dies on too many screens. Carr jumped a 42.5" max vertical at the 2026 NBA Draft Combine and clearly graded out as a top-tier NBA athlete. His shooting, cutting, length, and athleticism make him a high-upside wing prospect, but the handle and defensive consistency will need to keep improving. We foresee him being taken in the middle of round one.

Our best advice: in 2021, Kai Jones was drafted 19th. We advised, "draft Jalen Johnson."
