Chris Cenac Jr. is a right-handed big with a chance to become a stretch four with a nose for rebounding. That combination is usually hard to find. Cenac averaged 9.5 points and 7.9 rebounds while showing enough shooting touch to keep defenses honest. In our database, which includes more than just this college season, Cenac is a 33.0% three-point shooter, placing him in the LPS pool, although he is close to being passable as a deep shooter. He is at 65.6% from the free throw line. At 6'10" with a 7'5" wingspan and a 240-pound frame, Cenac has excellent size and length for a NBA frontcourt player. He is smooth, moves well, and has terrific agility for his size. He posted a 37" max vertical at the 2026 NBA Draft Combine. Athletic dudes with 7'5" wingspans and a nose for the ball are not that common. Cenac’s feel for the game is just okay right now. He had more turnovers than assists, and it may take him some time to fully impact NBA winning. Still, he is just 19 years old, and his defensive tools are very real. Cenac had a plus 3.8 DDiff and posted the best individual DEFRTG in the Big 12. His development will be key, but Cenac is the type of prospect who could become a real steal as a late first-round pick if everything goes right. The rebounding, length, mobility, defensive impact, and potential shooting give him a very intriguing NBA projection.
