AJ Dybantsa is a dynamic right-handed scoring wing with elite downhill ability and uncommon shot-creation talent. Dybantsa led the entire NCAA in scoring at 25.5 points per game while also leading the nation in free throws attempted, reflecting both his aggression and ability to pressure defenses. Although naturally right-handed, he is comfortable finishing with either hand. Dybantsa shot 33.1% from three-point range and 77.4% from the free throw line in 2025-26. At 6'9" with a 7'0.25" wingspan and a 217-pound frame, Dybantsa offers prototype NBA wing size. He is quick, explosive, and capable of generating rim pressure in ways very few perimeter scorers can. Scorers that can reverse pivot at the three-point line, take one dribble, and get all the way to the rim are rarely seen. Dybantsa also represented Team USA, winning Gold Medals at the U19, U17, and U16 levels. He was the MVP of the U19 tournament. Dybantsa finished fourth in Big 12 box score plus/minus. While he posted just a 1.2-to-1 assist-to-turnover ratio and still has room to improve as a decision-maker, we believe Dybantsa has genuine NBA star potential. His combination of size, athletic ability, foul-drawing, and advanced scoring instincts gives him one of the highest ceilings in the 2026 NBA Draft.

Our best advice: in 2006, Greg Oden was drafted 1st. We advised, "draft Kevin Durant."
