Kingston Flemings is a right-handed point guard with terrific physical and mental quickness. Flemings averaged 16.1 points, 4.1 rebounds, 5.2 assists, and 1.5 steals per game while shooting 38.7% from three-point range and 84.5% from the free throw line. He was named First Team All-Big 12. Flemings finished second in the Big 12 and ninth in the entire NCAA in box score plus/minus. At 6'3" with a 6'3.5" wingspan and a 183-pound frame, Flemings is small by NBA point guard standards. His wingspan fits between Reed Sheppard at 6'3" and Jalen Brunson at 6'4" as a useful size reference. Still, Flemings’ ability to get a piece of the paint is elite. He sees plays and angles before most players on the court, and he is a true point guard that cares about delivering the ball to teammates in their preferred catch zones. His 2.9-to-1 assist-to-turnover ratio reflects his decision-making and command of the game. Defensively, Flemings held his own despite the lack of ideal length. His DEFRTG was only 0.8 points worse than Houston’s team DEFRTG. We view Flemings as a potential mid-tier NBA starting point guard. Beyond the numbers, we love the human intangibles he brings. Flemings should be targeted as the type of teammate and competitor every NBA wants.

Our best advice: in 2024, Tidjane Salaun was drafted 6th. We advised, "draft Donovan Clingan."
