Michael Imariagbe is a right-handed Nigerian wing who was born and raised in Houston. Imariagbe averaged 12.0 points and 7.1 rebounds this season at Wright State before taking a gig in the Australian NBL after his NCAA season ended. At 6'7" and 215 pounds, Imariagbe has some wing size, though we do not have a listed wingspan for him. He played three seasons after high school before stepping into the NCAA with one season at Houston Christian. He then played his final two NCAA seasons at Wright State. The shooting is the biggest issue. Imariagbe made just 26.0% from three-point range when combining his NCAA and NBL numbers, and he has really struggled in the NBL so far. He shot 68.3% from the free throw line at Wright State, which does not strongly support a shooting projection. He did have slightly more assists than turnovers. Defensively, Imariagbe posted a plus 0.7 DDiff, so there was at least some positive impact there. The rebounding is also part of the appeal. Still, without a reliable shooting profile or a clear creation skill, the NBA projection is difficult. Imariagbe is not going to be drafted. The size, rebounding, and defensive activity are worth noting, but he will need to become a much more dependable shooter to push his way into the NBA conversation.

Our best advice: in 2020, Killian Hayes was drafted 7th. We advised, "draft Tyrese Haliburton."
