Vsevolod Ishchenko is a right-handed Russian wing with positional NBA size, shooting touch, and defensive want-to. Ishchenko was a VTB United League All-Star and was named the league’s Young Player of the Year. At 6'8" with a 7'0" wingspan and 218 pounds, Ishchenko checks a bunch of boxes as a small forward prospect. He has good anticipation, stays alert, and posted a plus 3.5 DDiff. Positional size with shooting touch and the will to play defense is a nice combination. Ishchenko can shoot it. His three-point volume was not huge, but he made 32 of 71 attempts in 2025-26, good for 45.0% from deep. He also shot 78.1% from the free throw line. His 1.29-to-1 assist-to-turnover ratio was not special, but he showed enough team feel to remain interesting as a wing prospect. We are not sure Ishchenko will be drafted. We think he should be. In this NBA Draft, where so many second-round prospects are older, Ishchenko offers a team a chance to draft a 21-year-old with size, shooting, defensive activity, and room to grow. We project he can develop into a top-tier reserve wing.
