Baba Miller is a right-handed Spanish forward/big with a finesse game and a long developmental history. We have been hearing about Miller for several years. He appeared in a EuroLeague game at the age of 17 before eventually coming to the NCAA. Miller played two seasons at Florida State, then one at Florida Atlantic, and finished with his best NCAA season at Cincinnati.
Miller averaged 13.0 points, 10.3 rebounds, 3.7 assists, and 1.2 blocked shots per game. His 10.3 rebounds per game led the Big 12, and he finished 11th in Big 12 box score plus/minus. At 6'11" with a 7'1.75" wingspan and 208 pounds, Miller has intriguing length, but he still needs to add muscle. If he can stretch defenses, he fits the positional size of a power forward by length. If he is more of a center due to the lack of shooting accuracy, he will come in undersized. The shooting from deep is the swing skill. Miller shot just 29.0% from three-point range for his career and 65.8% from the free throw line in 2025-26. Those numbers place him in the LPS pool for now. Still, he knows how to play. Miller can handle it for a big, posted a 1.69-to-1 assist-to-turnover ratio, and looks comfortable as a roller in pick-and-roll situations. Miller reacts quickly and tested well in short-area movement. He posted the third-fastest shuttle run time at the 2026 NBA Draft Combine and jumped a 34.5" max vertical. His DDiff was plus 3.3, showing positive defensive impact. It is easy to see Miller’s feel, length, mobility, and skill. The question is whether the shooting improves enough to let him settle in as a power forward. We think Miller will be taken early in round two.

Our best advice: in 2005, Ricky Sanchez was drafted 35th. We advised, "draft Ersan Ilyasova."
